Known the less the specimen on this video is not a stingray because its spine would not stretch the entire length of its body.

I live on the East coast of NYS. 10 years ago I'd walk the beach almost every day it wasn't raining. 30 years before that I was an avid scuba diver. Even up here. I figure I saw, or know of, every sea creature we have. But I found the remains of some kind of sea creature I never saw. It was in the winter months and usually after a storm. The point is food was scarce and the sea gulls were eating it fast. I saw 2 or 3 of these things. It wasn't huge, maybe 3 ft before being eaten. But I could not liken it to anything I know of. Just strange, that's all.
