Shared Horizons 2012, is an "In Spirit of Partnership for Peace" combining bi-lateral humanitarian assistance and a emergency response exercise U.S. Army Europe's 361st Civil Affairs Brigade, the first Civil Affairs Brigade stationed outside the US and assigned to the 7th Civil Support Command, assisted in this year's exercise along with members from the U.S. state of Georgia's Army National Guard.
Georgian and U.S. military participants declared the second annual Shared Horizon exercise a resounding success. This year's exercise was designed to test the Georgian communications during a national disaster response at two locations, the Georgian National Guard Training Center in Tbilisi, and a training area in Paldo, country of Georgia.
