US Army Europe officials have recommended that all soldiers and civilians who have Department of Defense vehicle registration stickers on their vehicles - should remove them as a force protection measure.
These decals, or DD Form 2220, were are used in stateside garrisons as a way to identify authorized vehicles - but here in Europe these decals easily identify you and your vehicle as being US military related.
