L.L. Bean Catalog

I had never read an L.L. Bean catalog myself, so I was a little surprised at how cruel they are.

Here's a transcript:

Mom and Dad do not put me in the lion's den.
I really said, Mommy, can I please not be put in the lion's den?
You won't be put in the lion's den.
Dad was going to put her in the lion's den.
But she did not let him.
So I said, Dad! Please do not put me in the lion's den.
But Dad did not. But Dad did.
I said Mom, help, Mom!
And the police helped.
I said, Thank you police.
But I did not listen to the police.
I stayed in jail.
Just like my daddy said.
And I already said, Dad, can I please go to jail?
Unless you stop going to the park by yourself without your mom and dad.
She did not listen. She said I will go to the park without mom and dad.
So she could be put in the lions den.
But daddy did not put her in the lion's den.
She actually sneaked into the lion's den.
But we should be for all put [garbled]
So I said Mommy, is it punished for making up the words?
No, no, no, no, no, no.
But I shall have some pink boots, and some purple boots and some blue and some white.
But she did not have those boots.
Mom had to buy her boots.
I said, can I have some new pajamas?
These pajamas and these pajamas and these pajamas and ...

The pajamas part goes on for some time.

3. Travis Hendricks: I literally had a tear building in the corner of my eye this video is so adorable. It probably helps that she's my niece, but seriously, that girl is the definition of cute. And that story could turn heads in a Poetry Theater.
4. JJ Hendricks: I guess I should read the catalogs more often. They have pretty good stories in them. Next time I am with Haven I will ask her to read National Geographic to me. I only look at the pictures in that magazine too.
