Colonel Ludlow from Legends of the Fall is one of my favorite characters in all cinema. This series of clips highlights his personality and views on the world.

They expected a fight from Tristan (but didn't get one he took it like a man) but not the Colonel or Alfred for that matter. A blunder that cost them dearly.

The best of Sir Anthony Hopkins acting , masculinity unmatched performance, I sometimes find me in him Colonel Ludlow, he even lost his son in war, he remained unshakeable determination, he has unwavering Discipline and for his sons he just pour out the best of love and his love of humanity. He has wife ,whom he cares the most and when he went through the paralytic attack ,not able to speak also ,he writes down what he wants to express. For his character I learned today is the Goodness,and love for all without discriminating the son's and Red Indians whom he cares. Love all ,hate none , set free your son's after inculcating the best of upbringing . Yes in short my kind of man who finds chivalry in small joys of life ,what the adversities may bring. .
